Stan Lee’s Comikaze

What happens when a Comic Convention and Halloween collide? You get Pizza Day Comics at Stan Lee’s Comikaze!

This holiday weekend all Los Angelenos are encouraged to visit Comikaze, conveniently located in Downtown LA’s Convention Center. There you can find us at booth AA1632 in Small Press.

We will be premiering a number of new items this year, including “Pizza Day Comics Book 2: If Wishes Were Fishes,” along with brand new prints, buttons & stickers, and – for the first time ever – shirts and leggings!

If you are interested in going, or know someone who is, please help us spread the word by sharing this post. We’re looking forward to a great convention and we hope to see you there!

AX 2014 is Ovah!

AX is ovah!

Thanks to all y’alls who came by, you guys were awesome! Thanks to everyone who bought stuff, you make it possible for me to keep doing this sort of thing.

Super cool thanks to people who checked out the pizza day comics year one book! Even more super cool thanks to those who bought it!

Hello to the AMAZING artists of artist alley! There was some absolutely mind blowing talent and I’m sad I couldn’t meet every single one of you – there were so many people, it was INSANE!

But the most important thank you is to Jacob and my friend Alyx!

These two warriors made it possible for me to do things like HAVE A SET UP, eat a lunch!, walk around, and etc! These two helpers were amazing, I couldn’t have asked for better friends. Jacob especially went the extra mile – while I was taking care of an issue offsite, Jacob set up my table. THE GUY IS AMAZING, I TELL YOU! I couldn’t ask for a better life and creative partner because he’s the best.

This con was a learning experience and I’m seriously pumped for my next con, which if I’m not mistaken is Comikaze Expo in November. I’m inspired to do a lot of art, particularly original work and sets of things. I think you’ll all be pleasantly surprised. We’ll be putting new prints in the shop this week, so hang tight!

Specific highlights –

My friend took my Madoka prints to Gen Urobutchi (Writer/Creator of Madoka) to be signed and apparently he really liked them. A HUGE thanks to my friend Will for helping me send him a Madoka care package.
